ArcheType Application

Ready to dive in and join a community of innovators? Here’s what you can expect from the application process.

First, take some time to carefully read our website, the application, and the FAQ. We’re not looking to surprise you with anything – in fact, all criteria on which you’ll be assessed throughout the application process will be made available to you ahead of time. We want to make sure you have a thorough understanding of the application and your participation in the program. If you choose to apply, follow the steps below. If any questions arise, you can refer back to our FAQ or contact Noah Fribley.

Step One: Online Application

Notify me when application opens

All applicants must complete a multimedia application requiring written responses to essay questions with an optional submission of a two-minute video clip and/or artwork. You will be given the criteria we will use to evaluate applications.

Step Two: In-Person Session

Applicants who advance past the initial screening will be required to participate in an in-person pitch, an interview, and a group simulation. Details about how best to prepare for this will be sent when applicants are notified about advancement.

We’re committing to provide a valuable learning experience for applicants that will also serve as an evaluative opportunity for us. You’ll give your pitch to a supportive audience of experts and peers who will provide you with on-the-spot feedback. The workshops and activities will be designed to benefit you and your venture, and will come at no cost to you and with no strings attached.

Since this experience closely resembles key components of ArcheType, it will help us identify those evaluative attributes that make for a truly successful, cohort-driven experience. It will also provide us with a holistic understanding of you beyond your written application. We’ll provide you with the criteria we use.

After each step is completed, we will determine which applicants will be admitted to the cohort and inform admitted applicants.
